Keyboard Shortcuts
PrestoPlot Keyboard Shortcuts
PrestoPlot accepts several keyboard shortcuts which are associated with the window type which is currently raised (Has the ksyboard focus).

Display the online help for the currently raised window. |
| SHIFT-F1 |
Start the context help and wait for the left mouse button to select an object. |
| F2 |
Open a new graph with the currently selected data sets from the Data Sets window loaded or an empty graph if there are none selected. |
| F3 or Control-o |
Open a new data file. |
| Shift-F3 or Control-Shift-O |
Open a new data file In the CSV Configure dialog. |
| F5 |
Load a command (*.pcf) file. |
| F6 |
Import a data file by calling an Import Plug-in. |
| F7 |
Display the Command Line window. |
| F8 |
Display the Preferences window. |
| F9 |
Display/Hide the Tool bar of buttons at the top of the screen. |
| F10 |
Display/Hide the Date bar (Only if a Time server plugin is loaded) at the top of the screen. |
| F11 |
Display/Hide the bar of tabbed window selections. |
| ESCAPE |
Cancel the context help or any dialog window. |
| ENTER |
When pressed in any text entry zone PrestoPlot will process the contents of the entry (IF its contents are valid). |

Duplicate the last opened graph. |
| Control-Shift-D |
Delete all datasets after confirmation. |
| Control-Shift-G |
Reopen the last closed graph if datasets are still present. |
| Control-v |
Import the contents of the clipboard as a generic CSV file. If the clipboard contains a file path (copy option in explorer) then load the file as if dropped. |
| Control-Shift-V |
Import the contents of the clipboard using the CSV Configure dialog. If the clipboard contains a file path (copy option in explorer) then load the file as if dropped. |

Close the topmost window. |
| Control-Shift-W |
Delete all graphs after confirmation. |
| Alt-Left |
Move the current graph tab to the left. |
| Alt-Right |
Move the current graph tab to the right. |
| Control-TAB |
Switch the current tab to the next tab to the right, wrap to the leftmost if it is the last one. |
| Control-Shift-TAB |
Switch the current tab to the next tab to the left, wrap to the rightmost if it is the first one. |
TIP: All the text entry boxes use the standard windows command keys to move the cursor, select and copy/paste text.
